In this fast-paced world, where everyone is seeking quick and easy solutions, it is refreshing and healing to slow down, connect with the earth, and learn how to grow our own food. There’s a saying, “Kids who grow veggies, eat veggies”.

In collaboration with Kalachadji’s Community Garden, our students also gain knowledge of the proper conditions for planting and growing successful crops. They identify the appropriate planting seasons for various vegetables, as well as the required spacing and the duration of the growing process. They learn patience and appreciation for the steps for growing food. The highlight of this class is when they get to harvest and taste their purely organic produce.
