Group Maps

27 August 2012 by Savitri in Lower Elementary

In the afternoons, we've been working on Group Activities.  Students pair together, communicate objectives and teacher's standards with each other and identify who will be doing which part of the Activity.  This is vital to student relationships; learning to work together in accomplishing a task.

This week, one such activity was Map Color Coding.  Students paired off and color coded the various state borders.  You may remember the catchy Geography songs that Gurukulas are known for.  Next time you're at the school, step into the front hallway and see their maps.
